Komodo Survival Program activities including:

  1. Scientific research and monitoring programs on the biology and ecology of the Komodo dragon and the terrestrial biological diversity included in the species’ range;
  2. Training and capacity building for Indonesian nationals to conduct scientific research, monitoring, conservation, and management of Komodo dragon populations, their environment and the terrestrial biological diversity included in the species’ range;
  3. Provision and dissemination of reliable and easily accessible information related to the biology, ecology, management and conservation of the Komodo dragon, its habitat, and the terrestrial biological diversity included in the range of Komodo dragons;
  4. Promotion of sustainable development and conservation awareness initiatives for local communities within and around the natural habitat of the Komodo dragon.
